OK im looking at a comp cams 268 grind Xtreme energy Hydraulic camshaft. its adv duration is 224int, 230exh w/ 112 lobe seperation angle(LSA for short). Is this to weak for my 400 or will it be adequate for getting around on the street. and maybe a yearly trip to the speedlanes. I want to get into the low 12s with the 400.

I think im going to use the K-kits from compcams. I like warranties! I'm also going to use Sportsman II heads with 64cc. Im also using a roughly 9.6:1comp.ratio with Fel-pro Hyperneuetic pistons(thats probally wrong spelling but you get the picture)and hopefully a set of Lunati 5.7 Rods. As for induction for now the normal TPI will have to do. Yes i know it will kill it but i can't afford a Mini-ram or Super-Ram there are over $2000 Cdn funds so the stock will have to do for now. I'm going to have the crap ported outa them and slap on a 52mm TB and some new injectors. Well what do you all think anything i should change. All this is just background so you know where im coming from and where im going with it. Hope it helps so you can maybe help me.
