if its an HO 305 it'll have around 190 HP and about 250 ft/lbs tq...minus 40 HP if its a run of the mill LG4. First thing you should do is a tune it up with some good parts...you'll be surprised how much difference it can make. then you can move on to exhaust and intakes and so forth........

I would say Cat-back Flowmasters (dual tips), ya already got K&Ns, umm then put custom ram air on it (do it yourself its more fun that way). Maybe gears. Wait, I got one, get a bigger engine. Theres tons of mods out there, you got time? you got money? Then mod it on up with whatever is your pleasure. Yeah get a tune up. The mods I mentioned are on my car too, not the gears tho.
---Thats what I want to do tho, get an old Camaro like 83-86, and mod it to hell, make it as illegal as possible, that would be awesome.

Thanks alot guys, but I already know all of that, I was mostly worried about how much HP my car has.

once again i will give you guys in full detail what my car has.

a 1984 305 "4 bbl carb hp" Camaro, it has a new edelbrock 4bbl carb on it.

it has an open element K&N filter, with the wierd K&N filter top on it.

I went to Don's Hot Rod and one of thier associates told me that with the description I gave, he figured my camaro has between 200-220 hp. is this an accurate guess, i know the 350 TPI has 240 hp so i figured it was a good guess.

someone shed some light on my ssituation.

Is your car CC. If so then you need to get a non CC distributor as well.

VIN with a G in it = high output L69 motor.

VIN with an H in it = no output LG4 motor.

If I'm not mistaken.

If your car is computer controlled and you put a NON CC carb on their, then you need to switch to a vacuum advance distributor.
