AC Delete Box Blower Motor

Hey all,

I have searched and have everything I need info wise on this project except what blower motor and where to find it online. I have a 1991 Camaro with factory AC. All removed. That blower motor is obviously too tall. I ordered a new cage for the non ac size, and still too tall for depth in the box with original motor.

I don’t want the single wire blade motor. I want the 2 wire harness connection for 91/92 wiring.

does anyone know where I can find one of these?

thanks!!

I put the shorter non-AC cage (junkyard sourced) on my '89 Firebird blower motor with later connector. Same reason as you, wanted to keep my wiring harness. Seems the OE stuff is swappable.

I tried that and mine was still too tall for the box I have. I have the “JDM” one off eBay. Think it’s was $89. I wonder if I should just get the single blade non ac motor from rock auto and then just cut the harness and wire in accordingly?

anyone else try that?

You should have ordered this box that allows you to use your factory AC motor and cage: https://www.ebay.com/itm/324574066084?hash=item4b921f35a4:gKgAAOxyyghQ6fur
He also gives a discount to thirdgen.org members.

Re: AC Delete Box Blower Motor

I have a box from the junkyard. Cheaper, more sturdy, and will fit...
