Just had engine rebuilt rough idle and running lean

1989 350 tip yup just had the engine block swapped and my mechanic can’t get it right it’s running rough and lean…….it runs fine till the temp comes up the the idle goes away…thighs?

It's probably not thighs. I'd recommend getting a datalog of what's going on for starters, also check for vacuum leaks and fuel pressure. Is it throwing any codes?
