Upgrade Snow Performance Map Sensor?

I just upgraded to the VC-30 controller for the snow performance methanol system. The map sensor that is included in the kit seems to be a very cheap piece. Is there anyway to wire up a factory map sensor in place of theirs should quality be an issue? Here is a link to their setup.

I suspect the add-on system uses a MAP scaled for boost, likely up to 3 BAR (45 PSIA). The factory MAP is designed for 0-15 PSIA.

I may be able to get away with a factory one if its possible. My motor should only be making somewhere in the 13-15 psi area.

Re: Upgrade Snow Performance Map Sensor?

15 PSIG (boost pressure) is 30 PSIA. That's double what a factory (non-blower) MAP can do.
