Noob Question. Is It Safe to Drive With Half The Spark Plugs Replaced?

Long story. So last year I did a full tune up on my car. Cap, Rotor, plugs, wires and ignition coil. Recently, my car developed a misfire. I noticed a few of my spark plug wires were burnt so I brought a new set. That seemed to clear up the problem. Yesterday, I noticed a slight misfire and brought new spark plugs. Two of my plugs smelled like gas and looked worn.

I managed to replace the front 4 on both the driver and passenger side (1,3, 2 & 4). However, I dropped my socket (it's a specialty designed to work with headers). Summit Racing is the only place that sells this socket and it won't be here until Monday... I've looked all over my car and the ground for the old socket. It fell into a black hole...

I've tried using the standard spark plug socket but the collectors on 5,7,6 (especially 6) and 8 need that short socket to get around. 5 and 6 are at too tough of an angle that the socket won't go on.

Is it safe to drive short distances with the front four plugs replaced. Normally, I would do it all at once but this happened...

I will only be driving about 3.2 miles (1.6 miles there and back) for the next 3 days.

You drove it this far with those plugs. What's a few more miles?...

Does anyone have any idea of where the spark plug socket could have fallen too? It happened on the driver's side at #3. Spark plug fell right on the ground. I can't find the socket anywhere. I've tried using my telescoping magnet tool, I'm back the car out and drove it forward. I've tried crawling under the car to look. I'm convinced it's in a black hole!

Trapped somewhere between the engine cradle and the lower control arm perhaps ?

That's probably where my upper alternator mount is. I had to upgrade to the fully adjustable racing mount system:
