LH Battery tray for Trans Am

Anybody know where I can find one? Passenger side are all day long but no luck finding a driver side one. Tried classic industries, Ames, hawks, oer and web search…nothing. Or what have you done to replace yours on the driver side? Thanks all.

I am in the same boat as you. The Camaros only had the battery on the Pass side. Most birds also had the battery on the passenger side. Only TPI birds and Trans Ams got the driver side battery. Finding a clean used one out of a scrap Camaro is our only option at the moment unfortunately.

V6 Firebirds had the battery on the drivers side, and were built in greater numbers than their V8 counterparts, so should be easier to locate.....

Used would be the only option. As was already stated, Camaros and non-TPI birds had the battery on the passenger side, so finding a good used driver side battery tray shouldn’t be too hard. I replaced mine with a used one from a Camaro.

Re: LH Battery tray for Trans Am

Perhaps you could use a pass side tray with some changes and modifications.

If you will use welds, you can cut & weld walls tray previous to install
