Tech / General EngineIs your car making a strange sound or won't start? Thinking of adding power with a new combination? Need other technical information or engine specific advice? Don't see another board for your problem? Post it here!
You aren't quite giving enough information to tell you anything. Here's wiring diagrams. http://www.austinthirdgen.org/index.php?pid=19 Hopefully they point you in the direction you want to go.

I’ll throw in more info here real quick.
Car’s an 82’ Camaro Berlinette with a SBC 350 swapped in.
HEI Distributor is brand new and tested so no issues with it. Im not able to pull any voltage from either ignition (IGN) Terminal on my fuse box. I poked around with my multimeter and found I had no voltage with the car in the run or crank position.
so I’d just kind of like to know what wires to poke at that’d either help me solve the lack of voltage to it or a way I can just wire it to a different wire to get that constant 12V source.
+12v comes from the battery to the starter terminal and branches off in a lot of directions from there. Perhaps take a look at all the big red wires at the starter, and see if there's any obvious damage?

I’ll take a look there and grab some photos while I am at it.
I do think one of the smaller gauge wires hooked up to it needs to be replaced but I’m not certain off the top of my head.
Yup, all of that stuff is bad news. Splits, breaks, cracks and all un-heatshrinked connectors are not doing you any favors. Try to trace back that open connector and see what it's going to. The factory service manual has great wiring diagrams. There are also some available here:
If you've got extra slack, chop out all the burns and breaks and either solder or use a butt connector AND heatshrink to repair the damage. If that would make the wire too short, get replacement stranded wire in the right color and size. At this point I'd go over all the engine bay wiring and see what else needs doing, as once you're there with all the connectors and equipment, the chopping and splicing goes pretty quick. Disconnect the battery first, of course. If you don't have good crimping and cutting gear, Klein Tools makes some nice stuff, and there is a difference.

I’d been hopin this wouldn’t be the case but unfortunately yeah it is.
I’ve had the battery disconnected this whole time just cause of how awful this wiring looked and didn’t wanna accidentally burn it to the ground.
