plug leads ??

one company says ours are best at 1500 ohms/ft
another says ours are best 40 ohms per foot.

why the huge difference.
carby car running a HEI

no electronics.
which lead
1500 or 40 ohms

1.5K/foot was about the stock Packard wire resistance. That seemed to reasonably well for about half a century, and still does.

I built this car and put brand new Taylor leads 9mm,,
car sat in my garage for months and the unleaded fuel had gone off and i didnt notice until it fouled the plugs and the smell was horrible.

pulled the plugs, cleaned them, still backfires, pulled the new taylor leads, some tested high, 2 had no readings at all.
put a new set of MSD and car runs like a dream.

Packard leads are my choice but they are allready pre made and i need to make my own due to right hand drive and custom headers.

car is back to 480hp
