TPI Fuel Rails

I am in the process of cleaning out all the varnish and gunk from my 87 305 TPI fuel rails. I pulled the fuel pressure regulator off to replace it while I have everything part. I am in the process of disassembling the fuel rails to clean them out better and replace all the O rings while I am at it. Question is how do I separate the fuel pressure regulator block from the fuel rail. I tried to pull it apart like the front and rear tubes but the hard fuel line seems to prevent me from doing that. I don't want to bend anything out of whack that will give me problems later. Both of the hard lines are obviously

tied together with the mounting bracket at the end. Any insight would be greatly appreciated

Re: TPI Fuel Rails

Hardlines are not serviceable. The fpr block pulls out it has a small aluminum spacer between it and rail.
standard motors sk24 works well.
