Stripped a bolt tried to use a easy out broke a chunk of the head off I have a second motor it’s another 350 tune port I have a 305 can I use the heads from the 350 for a temp fix until I order new heads and second question I have a 92 rs tbi I have the whole setup for tpi including wiring harness is it possible to scrap the tbi system and convert over tpi I can’t find a video or any information on this

 

typically find out youll have a shrouding issue doing that. you should take a piece of clay bolt the head down and probably check it when you rotate the engine by hand to make sure. if you dont wanna do that id just say no.

ultimately could come down to an easy yes/no based on casting numbers but im certainly not that much of a genius or trusting in a simple yes or no, id check it to be sure and make sure valves dont hit the smaller bore size

You can probably get a 305 head or set of them super cheap on ebay or from a member here. I sold my running 90k mi 305 engine for $300. The TPI will bolt right up to your TBI engine if the TPI is centerbolt also(87-92) and not the 85-86 version.
