zero oil pressure??
my gauge has read zero oil pressure for a day now and i've driven about 30 miles after extensive searching for a problem. appearently i do have oil pressure, i thought that if i hadn't had any oil pressure that my car would seize. is there a sending unit that can be bad? the only oil sending unit that i know of is the one at the back of the manifold right by the distributor, and that one is plugged in just fine.
Hey, I like that hood.
You have an electric sensor and even though it's pluged in, it might be shot. Replace it.
And if you car actually had 0 for oil pressure, you would hear a little rapping that would get louder the longer you drive it, coming frmo first the lifter valley. Then the crank would slow down and eventually seize.
I wouldn't drive it until I was sure what the problem is.

thanks for the compliments, the hood is an ascd big block stinger hood. its a little cheaper then the ss hood they make. it really allows alot extra clearance, im running a 5 inch k&n element and i probably have about 5 inches more room (yes im contemplating a taller element). i have pics of my car new and old on my homepage, you guys should check it out-
