Starting issues
Starting issues
Car was starting and running, then struggled to start, and then out right stopped cranking.
The Haynes repair manual indicated a faulty starter so I swapped that out for a new one and still nothing. Swapped the starter relay as well and still nothing. The neutral indicator has been bypassed (unsafe, I know.)
Connected the multimeter on the thin wire from the key indicates constant battery voltage. Both starters were verified to be working. If I had to guess I’d say the the ignition switch itself is not functioning but that doesn’t seem the case because all the instruments react accordingly.

Re: Starting issues
Turn on the headlights and try the starter. IF the lights go out, might stay out even, you need clean the battery and cable terminals, or a new battery cable.
