Fuel Pressure Drops to Zero
Hey guys so just like the title says my fuel pressure drops to zero after about 10 minutes of run time and it's screaming like a pig about to be tossed into the slaughter house.
I run dual in tank pumps walbro 350 lph pumps. FPR is a racetronix unit and I've got -8an feed -6an return Teflon lines. I have a pressure sensor in my regulator to watch it on my laptop thru my dominator ECU and after about 10ish minutes of that pump screaming it'll start dropping pressure then it'll finally just quit.
Voltage checks out fine, shut it down for a few minutes and unplugged the vacuum line and started up and held 45 psi for about another 10 minutes of screaming before eventually dropping off. Ugh so I guess I've got a fuel pump to replace then??

Probably, how did you modify / enhance the stock wiring to handle the additional fuel pump draw?

Oh yea all the wiring is upgraded including new relays, I'm not using any of the old stock wiring battery is in the back of the car and my wiring is like 2 feet long. That's a bummer to have to replace a pump again. I've got a trap door cut above the sender but need to cut the hard lines. I'm thinking I'll use a Dremel tool and cut the hard lines at different lengths then pull out the sender. Damn man

It almost seems like these dominator ecu's are causing me more grief than the trusty HP unit. Should've kept it simple with the HP and full manual shift kit in the 4l80e. Gawd damn what a pain in the ***

Yea I came to my senses and found my tube cutter so that's definitely the route I'm gonna take. This fuel issue has been driving me up the damn wall!! I've been seriously thinking about pulling everything out of this car and throwing it into the crusher. It's been a fight the entire way for no bloody reason

How does a car get running, driving for 2 weeks and broken in then sit for a month and suddenly develop issues while doing nothing at all?!? I love the car but damn I think I need to cut ties with it and buy a C6 Corvette and put my drive line into it

Screaming pumps and fuel pressure dropping to zero are signs of a blocked fuel intake... Those are the exact signs my car made.
After the fuel pressure drops and the car dies, does it start again after a few seconds?... If so, blocked intakes cause the pump to cavitate, forming air bubbles in the pump impeller... And you lose pressure. Turn it off, and the bubbles collapse...
My pump screamed louder than my engine.....intake screen was clogged...
