First Post here - 85 4wheel disk prop valve opptions

I did a search, but didn't turn anything up.

the 85 Iroc prop valve with 4 wheel disc brakes is different from the sharp edged 86 and up units

No one makes an aftermarket and I only found one guy who can rebuild them - but I don't want to disable the car for the several weeks it might be down getting that valve rebuilt.

Anyone have an option here?

The 86 model does not have the same thread on the fittings and the lines aren't even in the same place...

HELP!
Someone must've encountered this issue over the years on these now almost 40 year old cars.

Cheers
Aaron

Yet another "one-year" item for the '85, I suppose. Have you considered a universal/generic adjustable?

Yep - the problem with a universal or generic is that I don't want to modify the brake lines or deal with adapters/couplers.

On an otherwise stock.original car

I sent the original out yesterday to have it rebuilt - the car will have to sit for a week or so while thats done - but so be it I guess.
if I come across another one - I'm snagging it and will save it

cheers
