Need some help identifying part?

Hey y’all! I’m relatively new to all this and I’m still learning so don’t judge to hard, I can’t for the life of me identify this part and the hoses that run to it broke. If y’all could help me out that would be wonderful

A.I.R. injection tubes and check valve... Injects air into the exhaust header for emissions control.

Getting the rusted part out of the check valve will not be easy... Might need to find both.

Re: Need some help identifying part?

The part on the passenger side that has the tubes running out of it as Erik said, is part of the A.I.R. injections system (e.g. part of the smog stuff). It is missing a small cover that hides the plugs. The missing part is purely cosmetic.

As for the part on the driver side, it is also part of the A.I.R. system. Your tube is broken. You will need to replace the check valve (the black piece), as well as the stainless tubes because it is broken. There are no threads to install a replacement valve. Fortunately for you, that is is the driver side that is broken and not the passenger side. You can replace those tubes on the car fairly easily. You'll want to use a 9/16 flare nut wrench and/or flare nut crow foot to get the tubes off without messing things up.
