350 injector size 22 or 24
Just put a 350 bored 40 in my 92 convertible with a ZZ9 cam HSR with 24lb injectors 9.8 compression 87 octane friendly fuel regulator set at 44lb runs crappy spits and sputters until it gets warm then finally idles. Have 350 chip in it with egr and vats deleted but mostly stock. Are 24lb injectors too big for a close to stock chip and do I need 22lb or can a minor chip adjustment fix this. This was meant to be a cruiser motor close to stock with just a little better cam intake and fastburn heads. Thanks in advance.

You probably have two options, contact Jim at tpis for a tune and give all information on the build and what injectors. Or diy approach. See if less fuel in cold start enrichment. Then see int/blm
in cl and tune. Or start over with injector flow and offsets then adjust ve and cost start enrichment as needed and a wb for wot . A wb will really help with the tuning but not a must have.

If it had a GM ZZ4 camshaft in it would it run ok then or does it need 22lb injectors to get it close to running right

Well I meant with a stock chip aujp would a zz4 run ok usually or is it too big and needing a tune. Same situation with 24lb injectors would they work in a stock 350 with stock chip or would it run terrible from too much fuel

I’m not following how this is diy ?
looks like this thread was moved !
are you looking for a cam that’s the least amount of tuning ?
like gm 94666492, I’ve only tune the zz4 cam with 30#hr with the 165 ecm. I suppose it will run okay on a aujp tune but what has been done to sa for the fast burn heads ? Why not tune what you have ?
Zz4 cam is not a big cam.
