Hey y'all first post but I need some help. I have a 89 Camaro 305 TBI but I’m currently trying to figure out my starting issue. The car does run but not till it builds oil pressure also the Fuel pump doesn’t turn on till oil pressure builds. The fuel pump relay has never clicked on before old or new.

I’ve replaced (Fuel pump) (Fuel lines) (Fuel pump relay) and some wiring and all fuses are good

I do have a suspicion it’s a wiring issue because the person that owned the car before me hacked all of it up.

Is there voltage at the fp relay green/white wire at pump prime ?

 

Yes I believe so last time I checked there was voltage but I’ll check again tomorrow.

 

Yes 12 volts with key on
