I was removing the fuel rail to replace injectors and I tried working a bolt out and it snapped.
Bolt is on the front of the lower intake manifold. It is the bolt that holds the bracket to the manifold with the fuel lines going to the rail.
Front of manifold just below the thermostat housing.
Need to drill it out and retap.
Any one know the size of the original bolt ? That way I can drill the appropriate hole to retap.
The pic isn't my manifold. Just a pic for an example.
Thx !

Should be 3/8"-16 like all the other accessory bolt holes on a SBC.
Use a Heli-Coil of the correct size. DO NOT hallucinate that drilling it out larger to some weird size is A Good Idea. It's NOT.
Thanks. I also contemplated finding the same intake and replacing it. I will probably have to remove it to tap it. Can’t get a straight shot with a drill.
