... Cross-Ram on a 3rdgen?

Has anyone ever thought about or even done this?

I was giving it some thought over the night and to a point it sounds somewhat appealing....

has anyone ever done it??

basically the setup I was thinking was an Edelbrock cross-ram (CX8 or whatever, the side by side not the true diagonal cross-ram) with two Demon Road Demmon 625's...

I don't exactly know how tall the intakes are, nor do I know much in general but I'm willing to learn...

Any comments? worth doing? or too much of a pain in the **** ?

You may run into clearance problems, unless you wanna poke some holes in the hood. Also, on a 350, the 625 carbs would be way to big. Prolly something in the 350-400 cfm range would be better. (and yes, they are available that small.)

not sure I'd be keeping it a 350 for long... I always wanted one of them 427 sbc's from merlin

Do they make Demon carbs in that low of CFM?

Why?

If you are looking for more power, stick with a single carb setup. Just recently, I think it was Hot Rod, did a comparo and the multiple carb setups lost every time.
