I converted my car to 4 barrell last year and now I have a problem with the fuel pump running at all times unless I unlug the oil pressure sensor, pull battery cables or pull the fuse for the fuel relay…..anything helps!!
It sounds like you have a failed oil pressure switch. The contacts on that switch are normally open, and only close above 5psi of pressure. Replace that and re evaluate

What about the relay? Can even try tapping on it. Could be stuck closed... Maybe even an exposed wire somewhere. A repair manual would have the diagram and check procedures.Originally Posted by Cwolfe092

If unplugging it cuts the power to the fuel pump, it's messed up.That part is brand new.
If it's messed up, doesn't matter too much how new it is.
Replace it.

Indeed. Might even be the wrong one, somehow. Can't imagine how butt you know how that goes.

I replaced it with a new one and same thing. Got some new relays, same result..... now on to chasing wires and maybe even changing the pig tail for the oil sensor.

You can trace down what's wrong with a multimeter and knowledge of a wiring schematic.
Yes that is my goal for this weekend, Austinthirdgen.com has all the schematics.
