OEM Oil Cooler Line Setup

My 1988 IROCZ has the factory oil cooling set up that connects to the radiator and the filter housing. The metal part of the lines are in pretty bad shape and found aluminum replacements on Hawks. My current set up has rubber hoses connecting the ends of the metal lines to the radiator and to the filter housing with hose clamps you would get at your local hardware store. Is that what the factory used? I looked around and can't really find any rubber OEM hose specific to this oil cooler set up

On my 80 Formula 350 I removed my complete oil cooler (heat exchanger) setup. I only intend to use the car for cruising around and a few burnouts now & then. Hoses & worm/screw clamps looked original and nothing special. If intending on keeping the oil cooler go with good quality heater hose of the correct size and banded worm/screw clamps (they clamp better because the hose does not dig into the openings of the worm/screw area). As far as the Hawks aluminum oil cooler lines I have not used them. Others on this site may have experience with them.

Yup, the worm clamps are factory. Should be some on your heater core too
