How much fuel pump?

My inline fuel pump (EFI) finally went out. I am shopping for a new one. I have found ratings from 40gallons per hour to 100GPH. How much fuel pump is required for a 450HP engine?
I searched the archives and can't find a referance to a formula to determine GPH requirements.

I found out, here's the formula:

www.lt1intake.com/engine_nitrous.htm

Turns out for a 450HP engine I need a 43GPH MINIMUM pump. That rules out the ones rated for 42GPH since that was their max flow. Damn the luck, I need the expensive one.

Yes I checked it out. None of those external pumps are capable of more then 35GPH at 45psi.

I am going to settle on the mallory Series 110 model 5110FI pump.
It is capable of 110GPH at 50psi and is rebuildable even.
