Fouling my plugs?? won't idle..

I'm still trying to get my rebuilt 305 (L69) running... My current problem is, it starts fine, but only runs for about 10 sec then dies... I can keep it running by pumping the gas and running it at higher RPM. I pulled a plug and it was dripping with gas.. however it will start right back up after it dies. What should I look at first? Carb was just rebuilt, new fuel pump, plugs, wires, cap and rotor...

Thanks

sounds like the float is not correctly closing the needle and seat

to shutoff the gas flow..
very important to make sure the float is functioning correctly after carb rebuild.
