305 and 350 internals the same?

hey I was wondering if I could use 350 rods and crank in a 305 block. if not does anybody know of anybody who makes 5140-4340 305 rods and forged cast cranks for 305?

87,

The rods and crankshaft are the same so long as they were both designed for the same case style. Make sure the crank you use in your '87 case is designed for a single-piece rear main oil seal. The rest should be the same if they are stock.

Just make sure everything gets rebalanced. The 305's pistons will be a lot lighter than the 350's. Although the cranks will have the same stroke, they are counterweighted differently.
