Will A LT1 Starter Work???

well i tried searching but it appears the server will not allow me to do so. well anyways back to the question. Will a 94' LT1 starter bolt in place of the factory starter on a 88' L98 without modification? i thought i saw somewhere that you can but i'm not sure. since i ordered it already i hope that it does. any help is appreciated.

It should work I don't think there was any changes to the block in that area but you never know until you try.

well guys i have the "conversion" two days ago haha. but seriously it was a bolt up installation. you have to use the LT1 starter bolts since the L98 bolts are longer. make sure those to get the nuts that go on the starter solenoid/starter power. well my car starts up quicker now and doesn't sound bad anymore whilst cranking. in fact it's near silent. well i think all thirdgen's should have one (atleast the one's it will fit on). once again thanks.
