finding VIN help

I'm looking at a 90 RS. The VIN under the windshield has a business card stuck in front of it. The VINs on the door and in the center console match. The archives suggest the font fenders and rear hatch. Can someone elaborate or offer any other suggestions? Thanks.

Transmission: sure does
This may sound like stupid question, but if you can open the doors to check the console, why not remove the business card from covering the vin tag??

The VIN number is all over the car. You just have to look for it. There's a sticker inside the rear fenders. You need to remove the inner panels to see it. I think you can just open the access doors also. When I stripped down my car for racing I found VIN stickers everywhere. Most of the decals are behind interior molding, carpets and panels.

You would have to go through a lot to change all the decals to some other car but even the dash plate can be easily changed.

I found one by removing the back panel, but they are everywhere!. It is not hard getting the card out of there, there was a pack of gum on my VIN when I bought it. I believe that there is one in the sticker with the option codes, in the console, on the lid of the storage. Those are a nice thing to run though the server here, on a rainy day!
