The second cam is more aggressive as it has more duration and higher lift which will give you more power. You can only use the first cam if you have a roller block ('87 and newer F body V8s) or you had a flat tappet block that was converted over to roller. With either one though you'll need hydraulic lifters, not solid.

yeah but between the 2 cam specs, would you notice that much more difference? how bout if you put 1.6 ratio rockers on the roller profile?

I don't think I know enough about cams to be able to tell accurately how much of a numerical difference in hp there would be, if they were both either flat tappet or both roller I'd say maybe 15hp more from the second with the same rockers, but now that I think about it since the first one is roller it creates a lot less friction than the tappet so if you had the first cam in a roller engine and the second in a flat tappet, they would probably make about the same power, maybe even a little more from the roller especially if it has 1.6 rockers. I'd plug the specs into Dyno2000 for you but I'm at work and leaving town right after so I won't be able to til Sunday but I'm sure someone else could do it for you. Also, I think you'd need new stiffer springs with either cam because you're going over .450 lift.
