Anyone running a "short" plug to clear the headers ??

If so, what brand and pt# ??

I had the Accel kind, but the tips kept coming loose that connect to the plug, and I've heard many others having the same problem. I just use regular length now.

The Accels have screw on tips on the wire end ?? ....thats no biggie, install those kind in many imports and have no problem.

Regular bosch platinums. They are the shortest plug Kragen had, I think the same length as the accels.

I'm another guy using regular Bosch platinums. I'm using the ones specified for stock L98 Corvette heads, with SLP 1 3/4" headers.

i used accel shorty plugs with my L98 and edlebrock headers and the 355 i build for my sons camaro with hooker headers. my little engine as standard length AC plugs with hooker headers

I think i have some reg. NGK plugs with edelbrock headers #1 cylinder is extremely tight, I have to hand thread a good amount before I can get the socket on w/that rubber insert thing removed.

I have splitfires with my Hooker comp. and have no problems, did have to change all my wires to 90* boot angles though.
