Stock retainers and 105 lb valve springs...
Will that work? I was just looking at the price of comp cams retainers and keepers. $60 a set and I need two sets. $120 for glorified washers!?!?!
Can I use the stock retainers and keepers? The valve springs I already bought are 105 lbs seat pressure and stock (1.250") diameter.

Astro,
The stock keepers and retainers are not usually a weak point, unless the RPM gets stupid. Although I'm sure it's happened, I've never even heard of a retainer failure that wasn't caused by spring failure first.
The 105# of seat pressure isn't that great an increase over the stock 85 or so. I'm thinking you should be O.K. as long as the mass of the valves isn't over 130 grams for use at over 5,500 RPM. Above that mass at that RPM, the 105# springs with heavier valves may float on any kind of "performance" cam grind (something with valve acceleration rates above 0.005"/°).

Thanks Vader.
I plan on having my redline at 5500 rpm, or less depending on where the cam stops pulling. It isn't a crazy cam grind so I think I'll be ok.
