Engine RPM increase when brake pedal depressed

My power brakes aren't all that powerful. I was curious if I might have a vacuum leak. With the vehicle in park I noticed if I pump the brake pedal a couple of times the RPM will go up. Is this normal? Is this any indication of a vacuum leak or a bad booster?

if ya pump em rapidly rpms will increase-to check booster integrity A)pinch vac.line to booster while running and note any rpm change. B)with engine off park car for an hour come back-pull ck.valve out of booster grommet should still have vacuum within sounds like whoosh.
