Crank Pullies

What is the best way to keep the crank from turning when changing the crank pulley? I have heard of sticking a screw driver in the flywheel somewhere. How would you do this exactly? Any better ways to keep the crank from moving?? Thanks

You can have someone hold the flywheel with the turner or you can pull the valve cover loosen the two rockers on 1 or rotate the engine until they are closed and introduce air out of the compressor to the cylinder. This will charge the cylinder so the piston cant move up the cylinder you have to make sure the piston is before TDC though.

Try using an impact gun. Always works for me.
