loc-tite on poly locks? and 1.6 rr clearing valve cover probs

Is it necessary to put loctite on the poly locs on a set of 1.6 earson roller rockers? I dont think the brand makes any difference but who knows. Also has anyone usedthese rockers and had any valve cover clearance issues and if so how did you resolve them other than making 8 dimples in each valve cover?
thanks

Since nobody is replying...

I've done the loc-tite thing on poly locks, didnt help. What I have found to work best is to tighten up the set screw, and then turn both the nut and set screw at the same time, effectively jamming the whole deal against the rocker stud with enough force that, if you are not careful, will strip the set screw. Only had one loosen up on me after I started doing that, and after I fixed that one a second time it has stayed put.

Dont know about Ersons and stock valve cover clearance with iron heads. With vette heads, ARP studs, poly locks, and stock covers, there was no way the stock covers were going to fit.
