I love thirdgen.org!!!
I just wanted to make this post in my appreciation to the both the users and administrators of this board, and the website in general. You have no idea how much help and knowledge I've obtained since '98 when I first discoverd it. It is great to have so many people across the USA, and around the world who share a common interest. I was away for awhile cause I was thinking of getting rid of my Camaro(what was wrong with me?). Now that I've recently rediscovered the site, I've been posting like crazy. Anyway, guys, hollar if you hear me on this one and lets say thanks to Dirk and the rest of the people who bust @$$ to provide this for us!:hail: (let's shoot for 100+ thankyou replys!)

I am aware that this post is non-tech but I wanted to show my appreciation also. If not for this site I would have been content to drive just my 94 S-10 SS pickup, and sell my 88 Firebird
which had become boring, had it not been for this site and the helpfulness and enthusiasm of the members of this site. Thanks to everyone out there who tries to help out when some one needs an answer or opinion on their plans and projects.

The site AND Vader kick a**. Loads of good info - even if the ppl are very opinionated at times. Not to mention how much $$$ I've saved from asking q's here and repairing it myself versus taking it to a shop. And Vader being the "by the book" moderator that he is...10-9-8...

Yep, this forum has been an extremely valuable information resource for me too.Started asking questions a few months before my motor swap and now that it's been finished a while, I'm very satisfied with all the info I got here.
Thanks

I usually dont contribut eto non tech posts, but I want to ad one more thank you to the administrators and all the helpful people on here. I've learned almost everything I know about cars from here and a few other boards, and the information on this board is excellent, espically when you see the crap people dish out on other boards.
Thanks Agian!

We've all helped and got help from others. If it wasnt for Thirdgen, I would never have tried to restore my beater SC that I bought in 2001.Thanks to all, because we thirdgeners
It's not just a few people that have made this site what it is. This site has grown and thrived because of everyone who contributes, asks questions, gueses, or even just throws out their opinions. From Dirk to the very next person that signs up, we are ALL ThirdGen.org.
And don't think that the moderators are "all that". Yes, we do some cleanup and try to help when no one else replies, and many of the moderators have some very good skills and experiences. But there are a lot of very qualified technicians and genuinely skilled enthusiasts all over these boards. I'd put many of these people up against Detroit's best engineers for solving the rogue problems and tweaking for that last bit of power or mileage. If two heads are better than one, it's no wonder the success rate is so high with 7,000+ noggins working on the issues. Of course we KICK ÅSS! Every one of us!
