cleaning spark plugs with carb cleaner?

hey guys i've just cleaned my plugs off with carb cleaner and a brush........and gap checked.....they've only been run for about 10 mins before my carb decided to need a rebuild...just wondering if its alright to clean them with carb cleaner......i'm gettin some popping in the exhuast ...just wondering..

I wouldn't see why not as long as they're dry before you put em back in. I shoot carb cleaner down the throats of my carbed car to test cylinders. It all burns up eventually.
