GN fan switch??

Does anyone know what temperatures the fan is turned on and off with a fan switch from an '87 Grand National? Would this switch work well with a 180* stat in a carbureted 350?

Thanks,
Mike

Fbird, I recently installed the GN switch and a 180* Stat in my 87 Camaro (383 non cc) and I like it much better. I also have a Toggle switch which is something you're wife can forget.

Got mine from a local Auto Parts store:

CarQuest Brand
Fan Switch
1986 GN (No doubt the same as 1987)
P/N TS-136
About $30

Thier book said:
ON 220*
Off 204*

There are a number of solutions to this problem and perhaps even better ones, but so far I am much more comfortable.

Does it have the same kind of electrical connector? Is it a direct plug-n-play or is some kind of adapter required? I used one for a '93 GMC Suburban. It comes on at 225, but the connector's different and I had to "rig" it.

Mine was Plug-N-Play. Very simple. I lost about 1/2 Gal. of juice.
