Why wont these valve covers fit w/1.6 rockers

12363970 Aluminum Die Cast Valve Cover
These tall die cast V-8 valve covers have the name "Chevrolet" and the Bow Tie cast in the top. They are polished to give a chrome-like appearance and fit all small block Chevrolet engines from 1958 through 1986 with flange mounting bolt holes. Two covers per box.
Technical Notes: These covers are equipped with oil drippers. (Will not work with 1.6 rocker arms.)

I want the black ones with red chevy and bow tie. The ones above are the GM ones...im getting the Proform ones. For the GM ones....can they be modified to fit with 1.6 rockers...if so how. Can the proform ones fit without modifying? Im not sure what oil drippers are or look like...but if I get a pair of the proform ones...what do I look for to see if they have the oil drippers? I really like these valve covers....if they cant work what so ever with 1.6 rockers..instead of getting the LT4 hot cam and use it with 1.6 rockers...i'll get the lingenfelter 219 cam and use 1.5 rockers....I believe the 219 cam has exactly the same specs as the LT4 hot cam when used with 1.5 rockers.
