center/perimeter bolt valve covers?

Are perimeter bolt valve covers higher than center bolt covers? Will perimeter covers clear the serpentine belt brackets?

Can be, and should, depending on which you get.

I have stock center bolt heads now Im going to order a set of trickflow 23* and are wondering if I get the perimeter cover heads if they are going to hit any thing? The center bolt covers come real close some of the brackets.

valve covers

I have a 91 Z-28 TPI. It has trick flow heads and centerbolt valve covers and it clears everything ok. But one thing you have to watch out for is that I have summitt aluminum roller rockers and the valve cover bolts were hitting the rockers and gouged them up pretty good.

PaveTim did you need a longer or shorter set of pushrods? Stock cam or aftermarket cam?

Tall perimeters will hit the alternator bracket and the positive stud on the alternator, but with some quick grinding this is solved. On the rear passenger side they will hit the A/C box, this can also be solved with some grinding.
