How to gaurantee no more head gasket leaks?

Well as some of you may know the passenger side head gasket on my new engine had a leak in the back corner. I've spent the last two days removing everything and cleaning all my parts. Tomorrow I will be putting things back together.
I bought the high performance FelPro head gaskets that have the metal core and what looks like blue beads of silicone around them. What can I do to assure that my heads will not leak this time??
Last time I installed them I put silicone around all of the water jacket passages which probably wasn't a good idea? Also I've checked the heads and block for warpage and they are ok.
