Open rubber line from EVAP canister

I have a line from my EVAP canister that 'Ts' to a line going to the back of the car and one under the passanger side of the air dam going into nothing. Should this line go to anything or is this how it should be?

i doubt the open line is correct. on my 305 4bbl 84 Trans Am, which is a Canadian, the canester had a line running to the back of the car to the fuel tank and at least one line running into the carb and one that plumbed into the pcv value line coming from the front of the drivers side valve cover and running into the base of the carb.....there may have been a couple of lines going directly to the carb...i cant remember...but there was at least one. i took mine out about a year ago...so i am not sure the exact line routing.....but the point is that likely that open line is supposed hook up to something...likely somewhere on the motor (but i dont know where cause you car will be fuel injected and i dont know too much about fuel injection). if you look under the hood (if it is stiill there or not covered in oil), in front of the rad support, not far from the hood latch there is normally a sticker that shows the emissions hose routing...check there....that might help determine where that open line belongs.

i hope this is somewhat helpful
