Car stalls when stopped??
Saturday afternoon, I had to replace the battery in my '92 bird(V6) because it was shot. It was a cold day and the car wouldn't start even after I tried to jump it. Needless to say, I took the battery out and put in a brand new Delco battery from my GTA (stored for winter). The car starts up fine now, but when I come to a stop, The RPMs drop low to about 500, bounce up and down(rev) a little and sometimes it stalls. If I shift it into neutral it revs up then it's okay. I have owned the car since November, and it's never done this before. I guess my question is, could it be that the battery is causing the car to stall out like this?
Thanks guys.

I don't see a battery causing only a problem in gear and not neutral. Try coming to a stop in D not OD and see if it still does it.
