Accel Armor Shield plug wire problems? Please Help!

Hi All,
Installed a set of Accel Armor Shield plug wires and I am having trouble getting spark all the time to the plugs? I can hook up my timing light to any of the plug wires right next to the disributor and the timing light works fine. If I hook up the timing light near the plugs I dont get any signal. I have double checked and triple checked for proper ground on the steel braiding. Has anyone else had anything like this happen to them before? Hate to have to buy a another set of plug wires.

Thanks,
kyrenegade

Ky,

I've never has those wires, but can see the potential problems. I've also never had that happen with 8mm silicone wires, either. The only place I've seen spark plug wire run through steel tubing was on an aircraft engine, and they have at least two separate ignition systems just to make sure.
