Rough running problem solved!!!!

Hey thanks guys for all the help! Found the rough running vibration problem...The fan clutch was bad and was off center transfering vibration throughout the entire drive train!!! Runs good now! Better than ever. So be advised this type of problem made the engine run rough, thought it was ignition this whole time, But we went through and checked everything that was mentioned on this board. Thanks again.------Drew's Dad :lala:

Wow. I would have never guessed that one. I hope the imbalanced fan didn't damage the water pump bearings. I guess you'll find out within a few thousand miles, either way. If it was so bad that it transmitted vibration through the driveline, you may have sheared through the lubrication film of the bearings and gone steel-on-steel for a while. Just keep an eye on the shaft play and front seal for a while.
