oil leak
oil leak
i have a 84 z28 with a 305 that was built this summer. there is a oil 'drip' coming from the bottom of the transmission belhousing. its a 5 speed manual if that matters, the oil just drips off of it real slow maybe a puddle the size of a quarter will be there after one night of sitting. any guesses as to what could be leaking?

Newly rebuilt motor? Hmm. I'd have to say the oill pressure sending unit. Round cylinder about 1.5 inces long with one tan wire and connector plugged into it. Located on drivers side near the firewall next to distributor. Check it out. Its only about 5.00 to replace and will save you alot of money from adding oil all the time.
sounds like what mines doing...check the oil pressure sending unit and the intake...im almost positive its my intake leaking right now...i want to change the intake so im kinda holding off and waiting till i swap intakes or swap to a carb and new intake
