Vadar will this be OK
Vadar will this be OK
I am redoing my 89 5.7 GTA and I will be using SLP headers (no air tubes) I will be taking off the aip pump to clean up the engine bay.( NY state inspection is no problem) I want to run my heater hoses as simple as possible. Can I run the top hose to the top of the engine and the bottom hose around to the oil cooler and back to the radiator? I want to get rid of the check valve and T and stuff. I want to keep it simple. Is there anyway to take the air pump off and still run my belt? Some guys say to take the guts out of the pump. Any other ways? Thanks. 89blackbird.

i would think if ya have long enuff hose you could run em any way ya want.....like i said i ripped all that stuff out and put in a griffin radiator so i dont even have the radiator port either......you can join hoses together to with a plastic sleeve and clamps i had to do that for my upper rad hose since i couldnt find one that was just right since the upper hose port was moved over farther to the fender on the new rad
