ZZ4 oil dipstick the same as all others?
I've got a ZZ4 short block with a regular oil pan on it from my original '94 350sbc powered Silverado truck, and it seems to take a little too much oil to get it to the "FULL" mark on the dipstick.
The dipstick is from the Silverado also.
I've checked to make sure that the tube is pushed all the way in the block so that's not the problem.
It takes just a little over 6 quarts!
And I get really low oil pressure after several high rev accellerations, I'm thinking the counter weights are splashing it around and airrating it causing the low pressure.
Thanks
