The problem is that the rod that connects to the little hole on the tab on the inside of the door handle fell off as a result of the plastic piece that used to hold it on being broken. Is there a good way to rig it up. Money is kinda short at the moment because I just bought a new carb, intake, cam, etc. so I'd really rather not buy a new handle.

 

you can buy new plastic pieces from almost any parts store. the HELP section may evenhave one. look around for one they are about $1

 

I new handle from Murry's is only like $10 or what i did was use a electrical but connector on the end of the rod just modify it a little.
