Water Pump Leak
Water Pump Leak
Alright, when the cold is warming up, the water pumps leaks, REALLY bad. I suppose its most likely the gaskets, but what else could cause the, and how hard will it be to fix??? Thank you!!

Well if it's leaking for the little hole in the bottom of the water pump then you need a new one. I picked up a rebuilt one for like 23 bucks I think. And don't fret about the swap, its cake.

I wouldn't buy a rebuilt waterpump that could go in a few months, especially with an engine with so much power. Make sure your checkin your antifreeze in your reserve, if it all leaks out and you overheat , Kiss your engine goodbye. Untill you get a new one ($47), keep some extra antifreeze in the car. Unless you have skinny arms , you'll need to put the front end up on some ramps , cause it's a bitch to try to get the pump out and the new one on from the top, you'll have to do it mostly from the bottom. Any questions email me. I know exactly what your goin through, it sucks ***.

Ya, My waterpump is leaking right now too. I get payed on friday so I'll go ahead and order it then. Sixty bucks I think for the good one. Im letting my mechanic put it in too. It'll take a good couple hours to do it because its a pain in the butt job. Oh well. good luck
