head job
sorry to the perverts who took the subjuec the other way but that is nice to
. i am getting my heads redone in 2 weeks and am gonna order the stuff like new springs up to a 500 lift ratio. all set there. some ?'s i have is should i replace the valves, how much should i expect to have bigger valves put in. i am assuming it would be extra since they would have to make the valve seat bigger. roller rockers would b nice as well just dont know which ones. 1.5 or 1.6? i have a 350 and am gonna hope to push that or more in the horsepower area. bottem end is strong. the block will most likely be bored to .040 or .060 probly the .060 since there is some deep scratches. the machinist said he wont know till he does one to see how deep it really is. but any advise will help. thanx

But if your interested in what you can get check out my post on the stock L98 iron heads

on the subject of your rockers, if you are only gonna go up to .5 inch lift dont' bother with 1.6 rockers, you'll quickly go over .5. I'd put springs in that were good up to at least .6 and get the valve guides cut down to accomodate the lift.
Watch your block if you have to go to .06, you may want to get it sonic checked, lotsa 350's won't go that high.
