my friend is goin to be buyin a Honda Del Sol in like 2-3 weeks and i was wounderin how fast r they? i say one today and that thing looks like a Mazda Miata. anyone think id put a whoopin on him or no.

If I'm not mistaken isnt a del--sol pretty much a light weight civic?

put it this way I saw an escalade race one of those cars and the escalade beat it. And we're talking a land barge versus something that weighs nothing.

THEY ARE SLOW. There not lightweight civics they are the newer CRX's. If he get's a non-VTEC then it will be in the high 16's. If he get a 1995-1997 VTEC(the fastest model) then it will be about a low 16 or high 15.

I belive the regular De Sol's are 125hp 1.6L-
and the Si's are 160hp 1.6L------you might have trouble with an Si.

well in due time the Si wont be a problem once i start gettin things i need done to my car, like a new intake, carb, cam, maybe gears or even a whole rear end, and my Nos superpower shot setup.
